Porsche 911 in Graphitegrey (Paint to Sample)
A Paint to Sample shade that traces back to the graphite metallic of the 356 A
Specimen · 2026-10-17 iron · K73
Graphitegrey is the color of a pencil lead turned toward a window: dark, dense and faintly cool, with a deep finish that shifts as the light does. Porsche traces it back to the graphite metallic effect of the 356 A.
It came back as one of three colors for the 911 50 Years anniversary model, alongside Plain Black and Geysergreymetallic, a Carrera S edition of 1,963 cars with 400 PS. Today it lives in the Paint to Sample program, where every car gets its own paint batch, so no two are mixed from the same tin.
Porsche suggests judging it from a physical sample at a Porsche Center rather than a screen.
