Grand Seiko SBGE285 Spring Drive GMT
Evolution 9 titanium around a snowflake dial in pale winter mist
Specimen · 2026-10-16 chalk · K14
The dial carries the whole idea. Grand Seiko renders its snowflake texture here in a pale, mist-toned finish, meant to recall winter mornings over the mountains of Nagano, and the relief catches light unevenly across the face.
The 41mm case and the bracelet are both High-Intensity Titanium, which Grand Seiko puts at 30 percent lighter than stainless steel. Inside is the 9R66 Spring Drive calibre: a seconds hand that glides rather than ticks, three days of reserve shown on the dial, and a GMT hand for a second time zone. Rated accuracy averages one second a day.
The SBGE285 sits in the Evolution 9 collection, listed by the Grand Seiko Official Boutique.
