Sinn U1 DS with Grinding Dial
A submarine-steel diver with a dial ground into raw metal

Sinn’s U1 is an instrument first: a 44-millimeter case in German submarine steel, bead-blasted and coated with TEGIMENT against scratches, a captive bezel and 1,000 meters of water resistance. This edition gives it one decorative note. The dial is ground by machine into an irregular, scratched pattern that can never be repeated, leaving raw metal under the luminous hands and markers.
Every surface stays in the same register of steel, from the matte case to the bracelet links. Inside is a Sellita SW 200-1 automatic with a 38-hour reserve. The run was limited to 500 pieces, numbered on the case back, at EUR 2,470 on silicone or EUR 2,500 on the bracelet.
